First off 10 pts to the first one who knows where the title of this blog comes from. Secondly 16 pts to the person who knows that answer to the question. So if you know them both that's a total of lets see 10+16 carry the 4 minus the 9 ummm... 25 and 1/3rd points after taxes.
Well life at this end of the Universe has been mighty quiet as of late. The trip to Disneyland was fun and exciting lots of stuff was bought and much food was eaten. I got the best Souvenir and the biggest and the reddest oh ya and the most painful. Damn sun with its burning rays of death. Anyway first day we went to a baseball game it was cool the weather however was not i walked away with a massive sun burn. It persisted the rest of the trip but that aside everything rocked.
As soon as we got back the life of a DQ worker begain. I work some what odd shifts usually they are monday through friday 2pm - 10pm although there are some 10am-6pm shifts thrown in there as well. The work is easy but tiresome and some times boring. Also many headaches can result as customers often do not state exactly what they want or like to make up stuff like "Last time there was a hair in their burger so this time it should be free" type of thing so ya.
Family = ok for 2-3 weeks but after that it's like I'm 14 again. Although it's odd at the begining of the summer it felt like nothing had changed everything seemed to have stopped just at the point I left. But after living here for a bit you slowly start to see past the outer layers of life and start to see a more liquid center where everything is different and change is happening constantly. I'll give some examples. My one brother who, I thought hadn't changed at all , shocked me the other day. I asked him if he wanted to play a game and what do you know he can't he has plans to go out with someone from work for coffee. This shocked me. I mean I figured it would happen but I wasn't expecting it at all it was for the lack of a better term "weird".
I guess though that is life. Life is changing for all of us and I guess for the first time ever I saw some of these changes and while I wasn't against these particular changes I suppose more will come and there will be those that are less pleasent and more undesirable. I guess the only thing we can do is to wait and watch for them and hope that they make us better people.
It's weird going off to school outside of your home town you create a life seperate from the one with your family atleast at first. And as I sit here I feel split, half in Edmonton and half here. I miss people from school and I know when I go back to school , even though I don't admit it and sometimes outright deny it, there are people here that I will miss.
I will try to write more often but I am having difficulties making the assembly of a burger sound interesting so musing and ramblings will have to hold you guys over for now. I want you all to know that I pray for you each night and you are all in my thoughts through the day.
Talk to you all later.
